Josh Evert

Josh has been involved in the Milwaukee music scene for over 13 years, primarily as songwriter, performer & producer for The Fatty Acids.

He’s been selected as Artist-in-Residence at 360 Xochi Quetzal in Mexico (Jan 2018), Denali National Park (Jul 2017), ACRE (Artists’ Cooperative Residency and Exhibitions)(May 2016), and Homestead National Monument (Nov 2015). In April of 2022, he’ll be an Artist-in-Residence on an Arctic Circle expedition.

His soundtracking credits include Colectivo Coffee Roasters; 371 Productions, Custom Reality Services; Al Jazeera's Faultlines series; The Laura Flanders Show; The Makwa Initiative; Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Sabljak, Raether & Hogerton; TankThink; KidoodleTV; and various independent filmmakers.

He’s currently one of two producers/audio mixers working on KidoodleTV’s original series StoryRaps.

Josh was spatial sound designer on the VR experience Ashe ‘68, which premiered at the 2018 US Open, was accepted into 2019 Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals, and was recently nominated for an Emmy.

He’s had the pleasure of working on records with prominent Milwaukee artists such as SistaStrings, Rexxx, Nickel&Rose, Paper Holland, and Surgeons in Heat.

Andrew is a dedicated audio engineer and educator with over a decade of experience in the industry. Recently, he has worked on audiobooks for Penguin Random House, voiceover recording sessions for a new point-and-click video game, and provided location recording services for a Mad Max: Furiosa commercial featuring Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard. He has also significantly contributed to Milwaukee’s local music scene, collaborating with many artists on various recording projects over the years.

In addition to his work at Silver City Studios, he is a full-time faculty member at Milwaukee Area Technical College, where he teaches audio production classes, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of audio professionals with his industry knowledge and hands-on experience.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in Music Technology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Music Technology from Southern Utah University. He began his career by overseeing the audio department at Audio & Braille Literacy Enhancement, a non-profit organization that produces audiobooks for the National Library Service and the Wisconsin Talking Book & Braille Library. During his seven-year tenure, he significantly contributed to making literature accessible to a wider audience through high-quality audio production.

When he’s not behind the console, Andrew enjoys creating music. His band, Sat. Nite Duets, has released work through Father/Daughter Records and Uninhabitable Mansions. The band's recordings have also appeared in M. Night Shyamalan’s film The Visit and various other network television programs.

Chuck has been recording music in Milwaukee since 2008, working with many different artists, genres and mediums along the way but principally as the Bass Guitarist and Engineer for Milwaukee’s Mortgage Freeman, Mouse Corn and Vinz Clortho.

He studied Film and Audio Production and went on to receive his Masters in Liberal Studies from UW-Milwaukee under the guidance of Veteran Milwaukee Poet, Musician and Author Dr. Martin Jack Rosenblum. While at UWM, Chuck was also one the first students to receive the brand new certificate in “Rock and Roll Studies.” The culmination of his Masters work was a project entitled “95% ZINK.”

Recently, he had the pleasure of working with Rhinelander artists Boat Patrol and Milwaukee’s Yum Yum Cult.
